If you do marketing, I highly recommend TheMarket channel. We don't do TFs or anything - we actually don't share market secrets, our niches, with each other either, unless it's some way freaky market anomaly [buying Regen Flesh for 600 and selling it in an hour for 60,000] - But they're good folks for just chatting or getting marketing advice.
For TFs, I go with the a Fire/Rad team Mondays and do TFs with a Hoard group on Thursdays. Other than that, I pug. Mostly in Talos, though I get made fun of for it. But, hey, I like Talos. I run in teams there in the teens, lead them in the 20s, and still run there into the 40s sometimes. Though some toons need the Vanguard clothes...

hm...never heard of this freedom tf chat channel. sounds interesting.
if you are looking for a channel to chitchat, my sg/coalies/friends use Miscellaneous. We can get a bit rowdy from time to time but its a good group of people with some really knowledgeable vets. if you have any questions, you can hit me up in-game.
rf2009 is also a pretty good channel for random chitchat, as well as finding teams and tf's.

Hey, welcome back! You're like, 2 hours south of me. Suddenly finding players all over the South. I'm thinking the devs should've looked harder at going to DragonCon.

good to know that this game is still going strong. i just resubbed after...wow, i dont even know...when i logged on and took a look at my character list there wasnt a single one that had been played in less than 1300 days ago, so i'd say its been about 3-4 years.
what do people do to upgrade now? when i left it was pretty much all about getting single-origins and hamis
Well the main freedom channels I know of are freedom TF, RF2009, and Freedom elite. Since you both have been gone a long time and have some catching up to do on game changes you might think about joining N P C (note the spaces) it's a new player channel with mentors to help answer questions however we have been getting returning players as well since it gives them a place to get caught up on game changes.

Thanks philly! Another clear-cut reason why I decided to resub: the CoX community is infinitely better than WoW's. I actually resubbed for WoW last saturday, cancelled on sunday, and resubbed for CoX on monday :P

Heres the story: I just came back to game, I have had an account since launch which I have played off an on. My main love was for FFXI, and then later WoW.. However I have decided to come back, and I would really like if I could make some friends on this server.. I will not beg for influence, PL, farms, or anything of the sort.. I really just want to do things with people and have conversation while I grind. My character's name on Freedom is "The Network Layer", I would really appreciate if you added me, or said hey in game.
