Cant Install?

When i download the client from the site it downloads a quick (2-4 minute download time) set up, i complete the set up which then puts an icon on my desktop. i click on the desktop and what looks like to be a patcher pops up (showing the new issue 17) then after about a minute it closes and reopens and then another minute passes and above the progress bar it tell me its downloading a file manifest of anywhere from 2.0g to 2.6g (i've seen both sizes show up) then it tells me the estimated time.... now i may have a slower internet connection speed, but 60843hrs for 2.0g-2.6g? thats a little odd considering that isn't an exaggeration, and after about 14 hours of waiting the estimated time doesnt shrink, nor does the progress bar fill. i have restarted modem, computer, download and even re-installed the whole thing, nothing changes. please help me, i have 12 or 11 days on my trial left, i haven't been able to play at all and i want to atleast try the game to see if i like it.

Kitsune is right that you can play multiple trials. You just have to start a new game account for each trial you try.

It's not at all unusual for the updater to run really slowly because there is only one update server. Depending on how many people are downloading new patches or the entire game it may run terribly slowly at times. One way to possibly speed it up is to right click on your desktop shortcut and select properties. Under target you will see the link to the updater file. The target line will end with cohupdater.exe"

You need to tag a modifier to the end of it so it ends cohupdater.exe" -port 13094

Make sure that the modifier is outside the parenthesis and that there is a space between the parenthesis and the -port
