Monsterous lag issues...on a single toon?

Hey guys... I've been having this problem for a few months now. I partially solved it by shelving the toon for the past few months, but now I wanna start playing it again, lol. So I need to see if someone can help me with this issue.

Basically, whenever I play my Fire/Kin I have extreme lag issues the moment I start a fight. The second I hit Fire Cages my FPS goes down to next to nothing. I'm lucky if I catch 2 or 3 frames of the entire fight before I see myself dead on the ground. I can't activate any powers, nor I can do anything or pop any inspirations or do anything at all, rendering that character completely unplayable. I tried using unloadgfx and sync and reloadgfx and a bunch of other stuff. No help at all.
Weirdest thing is, that problem is completely exclusive to my Fire/Kin. I have absolutely no issues playing my other toons. Including my my other Fire controller (Fire/Rad). Hell, I've been on an All controller STF before where we had 3 Ill controllers (5 pets per), 2 Fire controllers (3 pets per, plus hot feet and choking cloud) and 2 Earth controllers (massive graphics) on the team and I"ve had absolutely no lag issues at all. So I know the problem isn't my graphics card (a built in intel graphics card, BTW).

Also, I think it's worthy of mention that this problem started out of no where a few months back. I used to be able to play my Fire/Kin normally with no lag issues at all.

Anyone has any ideas why is this happening? It's been annoying me so much I"m considering just deleting the toon all together...but I really enjoy playing my Fire/Kin. Not just because he's my farmer toon, but playing him is actually fun on missions/TFs as well. So, any kind of suggestions or help would be really helpful.

Did you increase your setting with Ultra Mode?

Ultra Mode is completely disabled for me.

EDIT: Also, like mentioned. This problem is exclusive to that single toon. I have no problems what so ever with the other ones.

Like it was mentioned in the other thread you started it's most likely your intel chip. Integrated intel graphics have never worked that great with CoH because, well, they are integrated and not a true graphics solution. Recently when the graphics settings were updated for the game a bunch of code was fixed. That code was a buggy, patched and kludged together mess that caused a lot of problems. However as a side effect it somehow allowed the intel graphics chips to work much more effectively than they should. When the code was entirely rewritten it kind of killed off that intel work around.

The new code is still kind of wonky as the bugs are being worked out but it will be working much more smoothly by the time GR is released I'm sure. If they can find a way to make the intel chips work better again I'm sure they will but since nobody has any idea why the screwed up code worked so well with the intel chips it's kind of hard for them to transfer the process over.

And as to why it's with that one character only, most likely it's something in the fire graphics that hit your system hard. When running that character go into your video settings and try reducing particles to 100. I can't guarantee that will work but it's a possibility.

If it was his card it would affect all his toons. I had 1 toon completely crash on me and also I couldn't enter po on any of my toons once. I had to get customer support to resolve them. I suggest you bug it.

Random thought: are your powers customized, and have you changed them since the problem started happening?

Also, do you know if this only affects you, or does it hit other people around you too?
