Newbie questioning
The SS/Fire Brute would probably be pretty nice. You wouldn't have crazy Fossilize like the Tankers do, but Webnades, Taunt, recurring click heal and so on could get you some fun out there. Not sure how many kills you can score on a Brute, though admittedly with travel suppression in zones once you webnade someone you should be able to KO Blow them or whatnot. Rage is always nice...
Remember to build for +Hit Points, +Damage, and some Recharge too if you can.
I'm not sure what the animation times are like for Defender Neutrino Bolt, but I know on my Rad/Therm Corr I can "proc gun" N-Bolt (adding damage procs to the attack) and spam it in between Cosmic Bursts. The Rad/Rad is ok.
Unfortunately, your softcapped Tanker will be...considerably less so in a PvP setting due to Diminishing Returns on everything.
If I were you I'd hop over to RV on Freedom (if you have anything there) and take a look at what some people are playing. Take it with a grain of salt though...

Howdy there!
I mostly team up with SG mates or PUG and do PvE content, but my SG have started to go on PvP too more regularly and I would like to join (there´s badges on that too... lol). I was just wondering what role my toons could take on it, and if they are anywhere effective...
My main is a Defender Rad/Rad with perma Hasten/AM at 50... VERY nice for PvE, but not sure how it would work on PvP.
I have also a 50 Tank that is softcapped for positional defenses (Shield/Warmace) that could go in some action too, but I´m not sure about it.
Red Side I was planning in use a SS/Fire Armor Brute for PvPing... Is that any good?
Any tips would be appreciated.
