Stone/SS IO advice
With a stone tanker I tend to look for two things in IO bonuses... recharge and run speed. A Granite tanker is the next best thing to unkillable by nearly anything in game on SO enhancements so frankly building for survivability is much less important. Maybe a few S/L defense bonuses to improve non-granite durability... I find that I spend about half my time tanking for small teams in Rock/Rooted/Stone Skin and only pull out Granite for tough battles. For large teams though I typically have to go Granite almost full time although Rooted can usually be left off.
Both of my Stone tanks, one Stone/Fire and one Stone/EM, are built for recharge primarily. Crushing Impact in attacks for 5% recharge; Gift of the Ancients in Rock Armor for bonus endurance, recovery and runspeed. Granite's tricky; you want to ED cap resistance and defense which means frankenslotting. There's lots of ways to go there but don't shortchange the base enhancement values.
I'm a big proponent of TP for any stone tanker... there's simply no decent alternative for combat mobility that doesn't force you to drop your mez protection. With that said, personally I hate TP as a travel power... Rooted and/or Granite simply forces the choice on you. I suggest picking up Hover for zone travel; with Hover TP becomes much easier to get from A to B and mez protection is mostly irrelevant when you're traveling across a zone.

With the IO's sets is it a one time use, like I can only put Crushing Impact into Jab, or can it be used in every attack?
Can IO's sets be stacked in other words?
With the exception of purple sets and a few individual IOs, you can put as many copies of the set as you want into your build. The limits are:
1) You can only put one of any purple IO into a build.
2) You can only put one of any IO marked "unique" into a build.
3) You can only get a give set bonus (say, 5% recharge speed) five times. Note that this goes by the name of the bonus, not the value, so you can get both five copies of the "Luck of the Gambler: recharge speed" bonus and five copies of the normal 7.5% recharge bonus.
You can also put only part of a set in. For example, my stone tank has four pieces of the Eradication set and two pieces of the Multi-strike set in Combustion.
Just hit 29 on my Stone/Super Strength Tank, and been thinking about IO's, and having no idea what to do.
So here is my build, and have roughly 12 million to spend (note powers in no order, but slots are what i currently have)
