What scrapper to do....
Fire/Shield. Massive DPS, massive AoE, good enough survivability for AVs. Warning - probable impending nerf to Shield Charge. Should still be an excellent combination, though.

How is Katana/Dark? Seems an interesting combo. And i LOVE interesting combos. Maybe light on AoE but the rest seems nice. Seen alot on people using /dark now...is it really good now?

All that said, I consider mine my most survivable toon by far in most situations, and it isn't so sensitive to defense debuffs that I can't farm the wall if I feel like it. I just need to make some adjustments after the recent round of IO nerfs, so mine isn't really at full steam at the moment.
So far as I know, Dark Armor has always been good (Edit: OK, well, a LONG time ago it sucked. But it's been good for a long time.), just... different. But with the ability to drastically improve defense with IOs, I think it's really come into its own now, as well as playing a little more like other defense and resistance sets. That might account for any recent improvement in popularity, at least among forumites.

second the Fire/Shield
I would have to say Fire/Shields too.
Yeah was tryin to stay away from fire/....guess I shouldve said that. Just because I had a fire./fire tank for SOO long got bored with it.
I might spec something see what I come up with
I agree, Fire/Shield Softcapped is like a GM on a boss(not sure how well sheild is res to def debuffs, if it isn't that good, you may find a bunch of trouble with shivans).

Then try elec/shield.
It's a terrible fotm, but there's a reason for that.

For something COMPLETELY different, look at claws/inv. AOE damage second to none, though the ST is not as strong, and inv with proper clotting is, well, invulnerable.

Ok after thinking about this Ive decided screwt he AOE I want to Kill Pylons and AVs at my whim...I have tons of cash. Just tryin to come up with something good
Dark Melee/Shield Defense
Massive DPS in its element (surrounded by enemies), very survivable due to Siphon Life combined with soft-capped Shield Defense. Pricey to do right, but that doesn't sound like a problem.

I would say Dark Melee/Shield Defense too. It can do some crazy DPS with great survivable. Also the best part about DM/SD is you still have ok AoE because of Shield Charge
Ive decided to do a Elec/SD and a DM/SD I have no life...
Anyways...here is the Elec/SD I came up with....Tell what the experts think

Was thinking of dropping SJ for grant cover though...
Ok...
Just back to the game after an extended absence (I love my wife ....I love my wife...I keep telling myself I love my wife) With that being said I wanted some imput on what type of scrapper to make. I want a scrapper that can mow down AOE mobs but still be able to take out EB/AV. Is this possible? The cost of the build doenst matter...as I can always get money.
I just wanted to here some ideas and why you all think they are good.
Maybe I'm asking to much I am not sure. But Im hoping for some good discussion on this.
Thanks in Advance
