Fully Built Pain dom or Cold Dom for pvp

Where pain is basically all buffing, cold is all offense. It's not nearly as good as it used to be before I13, but it's still good. I'd stick with pain personally though.
I find that pain corrs can survive spikes (in zones) quite a bit better than cold dom, even with the small added resist from fog and a patron +rez. this, as you probably already know, is due to the big +regen from pain's set. without DR on, I hear pain corrs are pretty nasty to deal with in the arena.
there's quite a few good cold dom corrs out there that shine the set. however, it's good to be on a competent team that spikes your targets after the massive -def and -regen. if you play zones a lot, a competent PuG doesn't come along very often at all.

Cold Dom is more offensive yes, but less likely to survive as compare to a Pain Dom because it lacks the abilities of heals. Cold is better for one on one duels, while Pain Dom can play them all well. Cold Dom won't do well versus a gank, Pain Dom has the ability to survive them. So pick your poison.
Yes, and to answer the question... I would be pick Pain Dom over Cold.
Ive been playing pain domination for pvp and zone pvp, i like the set its really nice, but im curious about a Cold dom for pvp now.
I understand Pain dom brings heals/small resist/to hit/-def and -resist.
From what i can see Cold dom brings: -rech/-regen -heals/-recov/-res -def. Just a lot of things it debuffs.
Im getting mixed messages that Cold Dom=Duals and Arena Pvp and Pain Dom=All 3
the problem i see is Pain dom doesnt debuff much at all, so the enemy is going at me full power, thanks to HD and DR my heals are weak and i cant use them within 5-7 seconds of each other without getting HD. Yes Cold Dom doesnt have a heal but ive seen it first hand shut players down right after they use their powers. I could really use some help/input in this debate. as for EPP i plan to go for Soul or Mu (Soul for Dark embarce/Power Boost up/Soulstorm) Mu for(Shackles/Charged armor)
