Map DC'ed and lost influence

Was in Wentworths getting ready to spend the 2.4millioni influence I just mailed myself on a lower toon. And just has i made a bid I got map disconnected and when I logged back on under the toon,the influence I had was gone....

Is the bid still on WW? Even though you have not actually bought the item yet, the money is taken away immediately. If you change your mind, you can cancel the bid and recover the money.

nope I didnt win the bid or bid everything on the mid..i only bidded 50k on and at the time still had 2.3mill or so before the game disconnected

Sounds like you fell victim to a roll-back. This sometimes happens when a whole zone crashes and does not save anything since you zoned. You should send a /petition... but because all the information was lost, they might not be able to find where you had claimed the money from the e-mail.

Instead, direct them to the timeframe when you originally sent the e-mail, and have them verify that the e-mail no longer exists. That will prove that you would have claimed it, but since there is no record of you claiming it, they might be able to award you the money. Then again, even though your character file wont have the info on claiming the e-mail, the global server might still it.

It's worth a shot anyway. And extra words of advice.. be persistent (in case they don't verify all the info after the first response), but be calm about it as well. The more upset and rude you appear in your report will make less people want to help.
