Mixed Elemental set

How about a powerset with different elemental powers? Some fire, some ice, some electricity, maybe some energy too.
I've started playing another big mmo and they have a powerset where you can blast with a fire blast and then use like an Freezing Rain patch. Its really fun. In comics when someone is a magician they have different spells that do different things.

To be honest, I get bored playing a character where he ONLY has fire powers, or ONLY has ice powers.
Yeah I know you can do a fire primary and an ice secondary, but im talking about all in 1 set.

You mean like Dual Pistols? Fire/Cold/Toxic/Lethal there. Assault Rifle, for that matter, with Fire/Lethal

yeah i was thinking of Dual Pistols, but its not as dramatic as hitting someone with a fire bolt then dropping an ice patch on them.

I think it would be exciting to have 1 toon doing many different elemental effects, in a bolder way than Dual Pistols does it

Erm, just choose a secondary powerset with a different element and then an ancillary power pool with yet another element? What you're asking for is already perfectly possible in the game. Enjoy your fire/ice/elec blaster.

The only way I could imagine doing a set as such, instead of having it operate by allowing you to choose the damage type and secondary effect (as is done with Dual Pistols, and it's not likely for the devs to give another blast set the same "shtick"), would be by having the damage type and secondary effect be applied in either a patterned or random manner. The patterned manner would essentially operate by having each power grant a "mode" that the next power you detects in order to determine its damage type. Essentially, you would be borrowing the Dual Blades mechanic (mode cycling) and repurposing it to do something completely different. The random effect would require a bit of new tech (though it's not like the devs have shied away from developing new tech for new sets), but it would add some interesting play to the set (random damage types and secondary effects).
