I have a 50 Fire/Elec, with a perfectly functional IO build. I was looking to redo the build for max recharge and recovery. The powers I have are mostly set. Basically, I could see swapping out acro for something else, if it could drastically improve my gameplay. Can some of the numbercrunching masters help me out.

Forgot to say, money is not an object here as I can take all the time I want putting the pieces together. Another important fact is that I could not care less about softcapping any of my defense if it requires any power changes.

Don't think you should be building for too much recovery with PowerSink at your disposal, but +Regen...sure!

-- Something I was toying around with, far from perfect -- Has some decent rech & acc, and a nice click heal with -Stun res. Seems like you have a bigger budget, but this is just what I have planned to do on the cheap with mine.

You're right that I should be maxing recharge and regen, but you can't forget recovery. With just stamina, before IO's, I had to use Power Sink nearly every mob and that gets tedious. With my current build which is relatively cheap, I can fight solo for a while without needing a break, and on teams I use power sink every 3 or 4 spawns. That's why I include recovery even though I have a power for it already.

I understand your perspective, I think PowerSink offers even more utility than that though. When you can take over half the enemy's endu with an auto-hit power (that happens to fill you up too)...It's almost part of my attack chain, in a way. I think it's one of the best reasons to get the /Elec set besides the single target dmg from the melee. It allows us squishes to have unlimited endu on the cheap, too!

This is pretty much my live build right now. You don't need to build for too much recovery. PS is up fast enough to let you refill your end. I could build for more recharge but there comes a time when you start getting diminishing returns on that investment. I felt at 88% global I was better off getting capped HP and more damage bonuses. If the FF proc in thunderstrike procs then I have a good chance at perma hasten.
