Rad\Fire AoE Blapper and Hot Feet

I have a question regarding putting Hot Feet into the build for my Rad\Fire blaster. I'm planning on playing the toon primarily in melee taking the following powers:

Neutrino Bolt
X-Ray Beam
Irradiate
Cosmic Burst
Neutron Bomb
Atomic Blast
Ring of Fire
Combustion
FSC
Consume
Aim
BU
FM APP

Plus pool powers to flavor

Given the "run-away" aspect of HF, is it worth the power selection on a blapper?

Thanks...

If you spend most of your time in melee, then Hot Feet is very much worth it. You will need to compensate for the endurance use, but even though its end cost is high, the value for that endurance is also very high, as long as you spend most of your time near enemies (Hot Feet's radius is a very generous 20 feet, so you do not need to be right on top of baddies).

I recommend adding at least 40% slow enhancing, on top of ED capped damage and respectable endurance and accuracy slotting. You will want to six slot Hot Feet and it is a perfect candidate for Frankeslotting.

Why Blasters? Empathy Sucks.
So, you want to be Mental?
What the hell? Let's buff defenders.
Tactics are for those who do not have a big enough hammer. Wisdom is knowing how big your hammer is.

Only /fire toon I have is sonic/fire so I don't have any advice or an opinion on HOt Feet since I skipped it. FSC and combustion have got some funky animation times. FSC delivers its damage very quickly but there's this pause at the end of the power when you can't do any thing (I'm very happy to say the pause isn't as bad a couple years ago). Combustion is the total opposite, you fire it off, do this real long animation and then you deal the damage.

With my sonic/fire my favorite tactic is to shockwave a mob(plural) into a corner, howl, sleep them, jump into the middle hitting Aim, Bu on the way in, fire off combustion

during the combustion animation you get to play the "when during this animation are they going to wake up. Most of the times it towards the end of the animation, I say most because it sure isn't always.

and then fire off FSC. Going Combustion then FSC lets you cluster the damage closer together, using them in opposite order spreads that damage out.
