MacBook with high CPU
CoH will very often use over 90% of CPU just because it needs a lot of power for what it does. Games are like that in general.
Your Intel GMA X3100 is ok for light gaming but if you want to see all the latest graphical bells and whistles you're going to need something more powerful - a "discrete" graphics processor. The Intel GMA is an "integrated" one.
If you're trying to balance affordability with power, probably the recent iMacs are the best compromise. A lower-end Macbook Pro (nVidia 320M) will give you decent playability, a higher-end one (nVidia 330M GT) will be a very powerful gaming machine for less than a Mac Pro.
Unfortunately the PowerMac G5 has a PowerPC processor which is not supported by CoH - it requires an Intel processor Mac.

Thank you very much for your helpful reply. You are awesome !!
Now I have to think about what I can afford & weither I should get a PC for gaming or save up for another costly Mac grrrrr
Thanks again for your help
Check to see what your current Macbook is selling for on eBay - Apple computers retain a lot of value, you might be able to get some money back after you upgrade to a newer model.

I called apple support and they said that CPU shouldn't run over 70%
Well, I ran the game in safe mode & normal settings and I am still running about 90-130 CPU.
This is what I have....
MacBook
Intel Core 2 Duo
2.4 GHz
Memory: 2 GB
Chipset Model: GMA X3100
I read that this graphics card doesn't hold up for gaming or even lots of design work done with photoshop. ( I have a problem with both at times/ slow, lag, DCing)
My computer runs hot and I don't want to burn out the mother board. Also I would like to run the game without any problems or delays.
Is there any way to lower the CPU?
Do I need to get a new graphics card?
Can I even change the graphics card with this MacBook (will ask tomorrow)
Do I need to get a different computer to play the game the way it is intended?
If I do need a new computer will this one work ?
(PowerMac G5 Dual 2.3Ghz 2GB RAM with 2 hard drives - 250GB and 160GB. SuperDrive DVD (DVR-109), GeForce 6800 GT)
Any help would be great. If anyone has or had this problem please share your thoughts.
Thank You!
