Selectable Veteran's Rewards

How does one select a veteran's reward? Specifically, how do I choose Sands of Mu or Ghost Slaying axe?

Is this done at the tailor?

Open your badge list, by clicking BADGE on your navigation window.
Go to the veteran tab.
For most of the vet categories, there will be a 'badge' badge and a 'select' badge that lets you pick something or claim something.
Click that one and it will ask which weapon you want.
Make sure you pick the one you really want since you can never change it (on that character - every character gets their own choice).
