Neither are functional. In the place where you type your signature, you must display the image using the [img] tags.

I tried uploading and I tried pointing to an online version, but neither seems to work. I used Chrome and IE and get the same thing. Uploading a photo (which is under the required limits for size and dimensions) does nothing. The page just reloads. Pointing to a URL always comes back with Invalid URL even though I can load it in my browser just fine. Any advice?
