Right it's been so long since playing and I cba to go through 1000+ posts to find this, so I'm asking:
The wife currently has an issue, she wants to see the new power recoloring system, so we reactivated her CoX account to have a look.. naturally...
Problem is, her CoX Launcher constantly Checksums and Downloads a File Manifest and then hangs. Now her Game folder is a direct copy of mine which does work on my system and I does login with her account as well as mine, so it might be something her system is doing. I've read in places people having an issue like this and doing "ipconfig Flushdns/renew/release" - doesn't work.. I've read some doing it in Compat mode - doesn't work. Even turned the firewall off - doesn't work either.
So does anyone have any crazy ideas on why the software is looping? Everything but possibly her GFX Driver is updated and even then it might be nothing more than a month out of date, so technically this shudn't stop the launcher from getting past the "File Manifest" section.
