Well here is how to do it
/bind <key> "afk <message> $$startchat"
just take out the <>'s and put what you want in between them
Bah! I always forget this one too.
It's such a simple one, but it just doesn't stick.
I think it's because the command is labeled "afk", when you're not really afk, but just paused for typing... and the auto message that pops up when you really are afk says "afk"... but they're not the same thing, even though they're kinda called the same thing, but they're not....
It's confusing, so I keep forgetting it.
Glad there are plenty of other folks who have better memories than me.

You know the ones that pop up when people are typing I know you can customize them but I'm not shure how. They always show up right under the name very small usually there dark gray background and black text.
1. What are these things called (so I can look them up on the wiki instead of bothering you all).
2. How can I edit what they say?
