Input Lag after Alt+Tab

Ingame, try the /reloadgfx command
From desktop, open the Run command and type ipconfig /flushdns
Make sure there is a space between the g and the / (I created a shortcut for this.)
Sure hope one or both of those help you.

I'd rather have a more permanent solution, if possible... It's quite frustrating, especially as someone who likes to PVP and Farm.
Thanks for the temp fix, though. Will help make it a little easier.
Try using the windows key to show your desktop instead. I sometimes have a freeze effect when I maximize back into the game, I just left click (in the game's window) and win key until I feel I've synced back with the game. Btw I'm running win 7 64 with aero and gtx 260 nvidia graphics
80 celsius is pretty hot even for a laptop if its overheating that will be perceived as lag as well
I didn't start having this problem until about two patches ago. If I open up City and stay in City, the client seems fine. When I alt+tab out and back in, I get this horrendous input lag. If I lower my graphics to minimum, it helps a little bit, but the lag is still there.
Running on an ASUS G71GX Laptop and temperature is usually around 80'C when it happens.
