I want to stop clicking!
I know you can target specific objects with targetcustom, but I don't know if you can target objects as a class. I also know you can bind accept and reject as responses, but I dont know if you can do the same with interacting with something.
Based on this it doesn't look like it.

Nope can't target doors or glowies.
Yes you can target doors and glowies.
The target name for doors is dr
The target name for glowies is whatever the target is, crate, generator etc... so it's pretty difficult to set up a bind. You could always just do the whole list as a chained targeting bind since only one type of glowie is usually used at a time. However this won't help you activate it without clicking or interacting, it just helps to know when you are within line of sight of one. You can also use the follow command once you have the glowie targeted.
To set up to target a door the command would be targetcustomnear dr
Unfortunately I don't have any idea how to click on the door from there. There doesn't seem to be a slash command for it because there is no interaction dialogue for doors.

Hello fellow players. For years and years (since 2004) I've been playing this game, and it just dawned on me that one of the things I dislike about the interface is having to reach over and click on the mouse to interact with something on the screen, such as a door or a glowie. Not so much if I'm trying to click on another character amongst a throng of other characters (like clicking on someone under Atlas Park), but when it's an obvious things right in front of your character.
So, I ask you this: is there a way to set a keybind to interact with an object right in front of your character? If not, I'll move this over to the suggestion forums.
P.S., I have just about everything bound to a key on my keyboard (I have a Razer Tarantula keyboard, lots of extra keys, in case you're wondering).
