Upgrading Account via Retail Box Possible? Game Time Included?

I've been thinking of getting the costume and mission pack avaliable in the Mac Version Retail (and booster back). I found a pretty good price and was wondering...

(1) If I buy the retail version of these can I upgrade my existing account (already has COH collector, COV collector and Good vs Evil Pack) with the codes or do they work only with new accounts?

(2) If Yes to question 1, would I get the 30 day game play that would normally come with the game for new accounts even though I'm just upgrading? This is a deciding factor on whether I get the booster pack or the retail package.

(3) If Yes to question 2, can will the 30 day game play count towards a reactivation invite? Not really planning on using it just curious.

1) Yes

2) Yes

3) I really don't know.

I just found a cheap box of the Architect edition that I'm going to use to update my husband's account for the same reason you are using the Mack pack. With the free month, it cost me only a couple of bucks more than his usual minthly fee.

1) Yes.
2) Yes.
3) Huh? You can't "gift" your month of time to another player with an expired account, if that's what you're asking.

My question is, did they actually have a box for the Mac version? I was under the impression that it was online only? The Architect Edition has a box that includes a code to get you a free Cyborg or Magic Super Booster, but it doesn't include the Mac Pack with the Valkyrie costume items or Mission Teleport power.

As long as it's a full-game edition that you don't already have applied to your account that normally comes with the free month, you'll get the free month and the associated goodies.

The base CoH & CoV editions (though that wouldn't be worth it, of course, they don't come with any extras other than the month) and their collector's versions (which do have goodies), Good vs Evil Edition, Mac Special Edition, Architect Edition and, when it comes out, the Complete Edition of Going Rogue (*not* the basic expansion version that's currently available for pre-buy at the NCSoft store).
