Requesting build advise for a new tanker
I'm not familiar enough with WP to really make huge suggestions, but here's a few things I'd do differently.
A. I'd take Indomitable Will and 4 slot it with GotA for the +end, +recovery.
B. Weave is over slotted. Take the endurance, or end/recharge slot and move it to Super Jump. By two slotting BotZ in Super Jump you can get better ranged and nrg/dark defense bonuses, without gimping anything.
C. I'd take which ever of the two slots I just mentioned that you didn't use for Super Jump and slide it over to Tough, where I'd place a fourth Reactive Armor in there, getting the s/l bonus. (which should soft cap you to s/l.)
D. And lastly, I'd take the lvl 50 slot you put into Combat Jumping and land it in Physical Perfection with a healing IO. You should still be soft capped to s/l and you've added to your regen.
You are looking at a fairly expensive build over all, even though you've set yourself up with mostly generic IO's. The Kinetic Combat sets aren't going cheap last time I looked. I'm sure there are other things that could be done differently, but take a look at what I've mentioned.

Okay, first thing.
Are you looking for a LEVELING build? Or a finalized, respec'ed-into build?
There are lots and lots of good respec builds out there. But some of them (like mine) would be an absolute beeyotch try to run as a leveling build (had one friend who tried, it wasn't pretty).
This is the WP/SS build I've been working on for a while. I don't think I can optimize it any further, to be honest. 45% Defense for S/L and N/E, 39% Defense for Fire/Cold, 65% resists for S/L,105 HP/s with one critter in range, exactly 63 HP away from the HP cap. It's not a kitten offensively, although the attacks are underslotted, for the most part. Rage is 7s away from perma, but you can sacrifice a bit of regen from one of the Pounding Slugfest sets if this bothers you. Conserve Power is mostly just thrown in there for effect, since I'm not sure how sustainable this build is end-wise. You could conceivably chuck it for Strength of Will if you wanted it. I was mainly just shooting to see how insanely defensive I could make WP, and the answer is "very."

I've been playing this game a long time but have never decided to make a tank. Now I mostly play with a couple of friends in a 3 man group. I've done the tanking with scrappers but found it to be lacking during the big fights.
I would like a tank for general play, with the capability of tanking arch villans as the other two tend to play khelds or blasters. Does this build have the potential for that? I'm not sure that skipping stamina is the best option but my MA/WP scrapper has more endurance then he knows what to do with.
Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!
