Vertical Speed Indicator in Nav Window
I actually have to agree with this. One you lose sight of the horizon, it's pretty hard to keep your bearings. Some kind of UI indicator of angle of ascent/descent would be pretty cool. I'd put it next to the Nav Bar. After all, we have horizontal orientation. We could use an indicator for vertical orientation.
And while we're at it, can we make camera panning not tilt my character in flight, please?

While flying around Dark Astoria it suddenly occurred to me (as I was plowing into the ground), that a simple VSI (Vertical Speed Indicator) added to the Nav window could be really useful.
For example a small arrow on the left of the Nav window pointing up if you're climbing, pointing down if you are descending, the length of the arrow proportional to the angle of climb. For small angles of climb, say ± 1°, show a horizontal line.
Climbing: ↑
Descending: ↓
Roughly horizontal flight: ─
Mostly I see it useful for flying across longer maps while you go AFK. Useful or not?
Didn't see a thread about this when I did a search although I'm positive its been mentioned at some point during the last few years.
