Alright so I've been thinking of making a Fire/MM for a while now, just for pure fun. I plan on taking this mainly for ITF's and STF's since they have alot of spawn and even some AE to farm by myself or with a friend. I would like to just be able to destroy a mob within 2 or 3 hits(If its possible). I've been trying to give myself as much defense as I can while giving me the Recharge that I think I need. Not to sure about WoC, but I added it just to get the 10% Rech and 5% Defense. I'm also not to sure on how to slot Drain Psyche either. If I can get some input that would be Awesome! Also try putting this in your own Mid's the post is different that what I got in the actual Mid's program.

Interesting data. I just 50d my fire/mental/fire. Right now he has SOs. I will look at your post for clues as I start to I/O him. Drain psyche got me from 30-50 in AE soloing large groups. (Thanks to the bloke that wrote the mish with 10 bubble minions). I just sat in the midst of the pack laying out pain in all directions. Drain psyche allowed me the limitless end needed, plus heals to deal with the inevitable lucky shots. I would recommend at least 3 slotting it for Rech. You want this up as often as possible. It seems like you will put I/Os in it, just make sure the set has generous rech.

Take a look at the recent threads on Fire/MMs. There have been a few nice builds in there. Two major problems that I can see with your build:

1. Build for one kind of Def: Either get S/L to 45%, or Ranged to 45% with AoE to around 30%. Slotting up Frozen Armour and then getting a bunch of Ranged Def set bonuses is inefficient.

There's examples of S/L and Ranged softcapped builds in the last two threads on Fire/MMs.

2. Mezzed attacks: When mezzed, you can still unleash your three most-basic attacks. With a strong recharge, you can even turn Flares and Fire Blast into a chain without Subdual. However, you skipped Fire Blast and underslotted both Flares and Subdual, leaving you almost useless when mezzed

Just an observation on your slotting.

You have performance shifter chance of slotted in drain psyche. You also have stamina 3 slotted. Moving the proc to stamina will give you endurance more often.

You can either move the proc to the third slot in stamina or move the slot. If you move the slot you can put 4 pieces of performance shifter in stamina for some very nice set bonuses. If you move the proc but not the slot, you can put in a recharge proc in drain psyche to have it available more often.
