Assault Rifle secondary?

I'd like to get a secondary for Assault Rifle with no obvious flames, lightning, etc. I tried traps, but they make me put my gun away to use. Is there a secondary that is non-obvious that does not cause me to put away and redraw my weapon during a fight?

Sadly, I don't think so, but I have never played an AR corruptor. I would think Traps would be your best bet, due to laying down your beacons/traps, and have them running while you attack, but having never played traps, can't say the reality of how it works. It seems to be the least active of the secondaries (due to duration times of traps/beacons)...but I don't know how it is in practice.

Sonic Resonance causes very little redraw. You can run the set by toggling on Dispersion and Disruption Field, and ringing everyone every 4 minutes. So there's no per-spawn activity that causes redraw. Sonic Siphon will cause redraw, but you wont compromise your performance greatly by not using it, except against really hard targets like EBs and AVs.

Depending on your concept you can probably explain this as some kind of hi-tech force field.

I played AR/Traps to the 40s and really enjoyed it, the redraw wasn't a big factor for me.

Assault Rifle is excellent with Dark. Also Kin if you are not afraid of Redraw...like A LOT of it lol.


Yeah though go with Assault Rifle Dark you will not be sorry. Tar Patch + Flamethrower + Full Auto is a thing of BEAUTY!
