Mystic transporter arrangements

I'm looking for some inspiration for creative ways to arrange the mystic transporter pads in the large teleporter room (the one that allows 8 pads). I thought I saw something one time with them arranged in a pentagon or hexagon, but I can't find that screenshot any more.

Any ideas?

I have not ever recall seeing that shot but I have seen them slowly floated up with steps going from each one. Neet idea that you have. Please post when you finish it I would love to see it.

That's it. That's the one I was thinking of. It was just 6 of them set into a circle pattern then?

Yeah. Arrange them so that one of the points is inward (there's a front "flat" side and a pointed "back" side which - if you pay attention - you can distinguish. It works best with the pointed back side inward). There's a little overlapping to be done, but not much. Mostly, you'll want steady hands or it'll be frustrating.
