either would be fine...psi/em is more widely used because it takes alot less skill to use than mm....but really depends on personal preference and the /em will probably be a bit cheaper to build

boost range is amazingly good...as is the Power Boost+ Total Focus combo...but a experienced /MM will drain psi like a beast...at least with /mm u have a chance to kill lolregens hehehe

in 8v8s you'll never ever ever use drain psyche unless you're a beast like jimmay.

Total Focus? Really? I had rather written it off. I dint see a lot of value in something that took 3.5 seconds to animate and did the same damage as my tier one blasts... in melee! I'm sorry for having to ask, but how exactly does Power Boost make it good? Surely not just the 2-second stun?

Personally, I don't know any EM that takes power boost. Myself, I use TF maybe 1 time per like 10 hours of playtime on the blaster. Like you thought, there's really not much reason for it, when you can do better damage from range. But in very rare situations, it can be useful. Like finishing off a runner, where you know you can only get off 1 attack.
more of a pwr geared towards zone and teaming...most of the time u wanna stay as far away as possible but with PB and 1-2 acc/mez or dam/mez hami's u can get it up to around a 5 second stun...so a 5 second stun...450 dmg (without aim+BU) is nice...if u cant finish off a stunned opponent who just took almost 500 dmg something is seriously wrong lol..wit BU and Aim it does near 900 dmg..so it is a very useful power to keep

Once the bug gets fixed, there goes your set. Sure, the chances of it getting fixed soon are slim, but eventually most stuff does get fixed.

It does sound lie fun, but IM still skeptical. Kick and Jumpkick both do almos th same damage with 1/3 to 1/2 the activation time.

oopss.....just realized that tk thrust is moar epic on doms...in the animation u stick ur hand out and a bunch of purple circles come out of ur hand and send ur opponent flying...does nice dmg with some very nice kb

If ur doing zone, PB is a life saver, the addition to ToHit is somewhat noticable, but more noticable is the increase to run speed. lol if you want, but it has saved my skin in zone more times then Hibernate has.

Im curious though - whats wrong with fear? It always used to be quite nice.

but tk thrust is better than power thrust in every way...they have the same kb but tk thrust has more raw dmg..oh powet thrust has faster animation time tho...so i think Power thrust=TK thrust

). PvP is obviously a bit different since I13. Ive been going over things and decided on a Psi/* blaster, but I can't peg down the secondary. As the game client downloads, I turn to the experts (or close enough) for advice.
Im just recently returning from Champions after a long break (such great potential... such massive disappointment
MM has a higher damaging attack chain with Subduel, A fear (yay for CC), and Drain Psyche (though that might not be a big deal if it can't be perma'ed anymore).
EM has. Boost Range, and... thats more or less it, so far as I can tell. Is there something else I'm missing?
Which one do you all recommend?
