Public Opinion OOC
Sorry if I've contributed to the confusion here. I was trying to work with what I thought my character was supposed to know IC, which didn't seem to be a lot. Hence my character asking a lot of questions about exactly what happened. My character has heard Pious accused of two things: beating up a surrendering (or possibly not) soldier of Arachnos and interrupting Lord Defender's duel with Headbreaker.
Am I way off topic?
Knights Exemplar: Wolfram, Autumnfox, Starlit Spirit.
Militia: The Portent, Wavekite, Mr. Sandman.
The Cadre: WarpLocke, Zajin.
Numerous others.
Posted my exit from the topic!
I've been using the thread as plot expanding stuff although I'm not at liberty to say for whom.
Plus, Pointy, it's an internet forum-style program - I think it's quite realistic to have that kind of discussion. Especially as I swear we all stooped fairly closely, with our characters, to an invocation of Godwin's Law.
Someone will be watching the room very closely...

So I've been following the Public Opinion openRP thread with some entertainment. There is so much gossip and confusion that all the facts have been blurred. Right now, even I'm not sure who killed me. Hehe. But seriously, I'll try to answer any questions I can to straighten out the facts.
As Warscythe already mentioned, we agreed afterwards, who would die. It's as I said on the farewell thread, as far as the Paragon City public knows, Pious died as a result of injuries sustained at the hands of Kahn. Clearly, a few conspiracy theorists have been busy being imaginative. Now people are (even OOC) well and truly confused.
I'll clarify what needs be but I'm gonna have to be careful not to get into an arguement. Being on break from this and all that. Fire away.
OMG Pious.
Sorry for the annoying acronym, but really don't clarify. Massive conspiracies and uncertainties look this are awesome. It could become part of the history of the Unionverse, no one really knows who killed Priest or how he died, or what really happened there. Things like this create a unique world :P
Just keep your mouth shut and this will forever go down in the history books as one of those unsolvable mysteries XD
Bad Voodoo by @Beyond Reach. Arc ID #373659. Level 20-24. Mr. Bocor has fallen victim to a group of hooded vigilantes who have been plaguing Port Oakes, interfering with illegal operations and pacifying villain's powers. He demands that revenge is taken on these miscreants and his powers are returned! You look like just the villain for the job. Challenging.
Yes , Yes what BeyondReach said ...lets keep the realistic confusion and muddle ...
..we cant handle the truth !!
Also there are some Characters trying to hype the muddle and keep the uncertainty going ..
..anyways if we wanted the truth someone would have contacted the Rev P by some magical means or other ..
the chat room thread has turned into a great bit of RP .. facts is the one thing it has no use for ..IMHO..
I am sure those who need to know for their toons know or can PM you for info ..assuming thay would have a route to the true story .
Just make sure that if anyone DOES know, they keep quiet about it to everyone and that includes people who do know. To be honest though, to make this mystery especially awesome, I think no one should know what really happened - they might have an idea - except those directly involved i.e. Priest and his killer etc.

I'm starting this thread as a result of the increasing OOC discussion in the OpenRP thread. Honestly, if I'd known that what has happened so far was going to happen, I'd have started it sooner.
The purpose of Public Opinion was to generally provide a possible branch of plottage in the form of general public opinion of Paragon's heroes after the antics of The Priest in Siren's call, his duel against Khan and his (frankly baffling - both IC and OOC - from my PoV) death.
So, just to clear up a prime point, though other may have more to add:
The memo is 'real'. Molly's actions were made public via the news video, and she issued a statement condemning Pious' antics on the matter shortly after, which has probably served to pour more petrol into their characters' fires.
In addition there's this:
Sam: "My mind is a swirling miasma of scintillating thoughts and turgid ideas."
Max: "Me too."
