Tanktroller Warshade build?

I was playing around with Mids and came up with a strange defensive build for my warshade. Thought I would see if you guys had any input on it beyond it would be so expensive as to be realistic.
And yes, i have some of the powers out of the order I would place them in on live.

Well there's definately some issues with the order of the powers, but since you specify that this build does not reflect the power order you plan to use on live I won't get too much into that, except to say that Stygian Circle and Sunless Mire ought to come earlier (way earlier in the case of Mire).

You've severely underslotted Unchain Essence. It can be a somewhat tricky power to use, but it is powerful. In my opinion, you should either give it at least four slots or else skip the power entirely.

I'd also recommend at least one more slot in Stygian Circle, preferably two or three. This is partly a playstyle preference so take it with a grain of salt, but I find having Circle up fast with reduced endurance cost and boosted recovery helps immensely, especially in a build without Dark Nova. You do have Set bonuses and Hasten running so that partly covers this, but I think if it were me I'd want at least a second slot.

If this build is going to tank then you willl be needing slots in Antagonize. I'm not sure if by 'tanktroller' you just meant a very survivable control-heavy build (which this would certainly be) or if you actually wanted to have some tanking role in the build. So if it's the former, disregard this bit.

Overall, looks like a strong (albeit expensive) build.

I was going to say that some of Shadow Cloaks defence is supressed in combat but that I didn't know how much but then I realised you haven't actually got that many human attacks, so I assume you will use human form to Alpha with Gravatic Emination > Gravity Well before going into Dwarf and using Stygian Circle/Eclipse/Dark Extraction as and when they are up?

If so I would slot Black Dwarf a bit better, maybe save 2 slots from Shadow Cloak and put them into Black Dwarf to help on the endurance (Since Black Dwarf Mire eats end like nothing else and stamina wont help you in Dwarf form).

The build itself looks very survivable, but I would consider how you plan on playing and just make sure you have the powers that are going to let you play the way you want.

I appreciate the responses.

PrincessDarkstar: Yeah, i know the mire's are pretty end heavy, but I was thinking of using it just before a boom when i would have ample bodies to recharge with. The idea was to spend the most tanking time in human form actually as it would get the best overall defense/resist when Eclipse was up and switch to lobster when mezzed to break it.

Justaris: I think you have a good point with Unchained Essence. Would probably make better sense to take a taunt power for use while playing tank/troller. The Stygian Circle comes up in good time at ~16 seconds so I figured that should be fine.

This build really just started out as a mids exercise to see what kind of defenses I could get into human form (which is why the order is borked). When I looked at the build afterward all I could think was Tanktroller.

I know you acknowledged the expensive nature of the build, but you do realize that the Gladiator's Armor global 3% defense IO you have slotted in Eclipse is selling for around 3.8 billion (yes, that's with a B)? It's so valuable that the market interface can't handle the price; it is being sold directly, person to person.

Yeah, it's an expensive build.

Debt barely slows down levelling these days. It's just a little bar that measures how much Awesome you've generated recently. (If you're not getting debt, you're just not trying to generate Awesome hard enough.) -Kelenar

I would still look carefully at the build in regards to what you plan on doing mid fight other than standing around not getting hurt. I don't think there are enough active use powers in the build to get any kind of attack chain going.

If you fitted in provoke/challenge that would change though, and you could properly tanktroller then.
