Multiple User Profiles and CoX
Make a folder called CoH or Games on the main drive and copy the current CoH directory to that location instead.
Then when it asks you to install the game, point it to that directory where the files already are, and it wont redownload but simply update your version of the registry to know where they are. (You may have to "reinstall" it on her profile also by making a copy of the updater and placing it on her desktop. Running it from there should prompt you for an install directory, at which point you can use the same directory again.)
Once both profiles are "reinstalled" to the new directory, it should only be a matter of downloading/updating the program files once each time there is a patch, instead of twice.
Maybe a stupid question...how do i direct the program to look in a specific directory?

ftp://client.coh.com/US/CoH_NA_Setup.exe
That setup only installs/fixes your registry without downloading anything else.
At the most, you might have to "verify files", but you shouldn't have to re-download.
On oour laptop, my wife and I have separate profiles and we both play CoX. I downloaded the game to the program files folder from her profile, went through the endless updating, and now everyhting works fine. I thought that I could just link to the same file from my profile, but when I do, it starts to download the entire game again. Is this WAI, or am I just a dork and not doing things correctly. I can't believe that I should have to have to copies of the game on the same machine to run? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
