I've never pulled it off on mine, but I suppose it would be possible with a crazy enough build.

I saw a video of a claws/regen soloing Bobcat. Dunno who it was, but yeah, it can be done.
It seemed that recharge was the name of the game, and there was a bit of kiting involved. Also I think the build had substantial S/L defense--well below softcap though if I'm remembering right.
You can build a crazy Regen with 40/35/25 defense. That should be enough for most AVs if you are good at Regen and you don't hit one that can one shot you with a big AoE. Your cooldowns should allow you to recover from unlucky streaks. It is one of the harder builds to implement and master though. Fortunately Claws is one of the sets that can put out decent DPS without Hasten.

The REAL challenge would be doing it on a spine/regen which doesn't even have claws' high DPS
I feel like an idiot for asking this, but i see Kat/Regen threads all the time for soloing av's even DM/SR. I know most poeple can solo av's with the right IO sets, but it Claws/Regen a viable choice for AV soloing? Without the -Acc from Dark+defence of SR... and also Divine avalanche from Katana must make a big difference.... Without the extra +def move... could a Claw/Regen solo AV's? Say... even con?
Oh... and by "Scapper rules" No temps/pets/insp's?
