Dark Extraction enhancement
Given that you're going to have Aid Other, I would go for the Resistance. Defense is binary - either something misses or it hits and does full damage (leaving you no leeway for Aid Other to work). The Resistance synergizes better with Aid Other as it keeps the pet from taking as much damage and giving you a chance to heal before the pet is defeated.
I don't have direct experience with either of these procs on a Warshade, so I can't speak from firsthand experience, but that is the choice I would make given the conditions you've described.
With Aid Other not in the picture, however, I probably would have gone with the Defense. No strong justification for it, just a personal preference for Defense with all other things being equal.

Also, if you look at the description for the enhancement for Expedient, you'll see that the "resistance aura" that you provide for your pets when you have that slotted is 20 feet. Sovereign Right's Resistance IO gives you a 40 foot radius for the "resistance aura", which is many times better for those pets, as they tend to have a pretty good range for their attacks.
If you can afford it, I'd put both resistance IOs on your pets, which will give your pets 10% or 20% resistance, depending on how close your pets are.
Something to think about, anyway...

Affording it isn't an issue, I just can only spare one slot in the power for it. (Wish I had another 4 slots for that power). I was going with one of the two listed to get a set bonus out of the deal, but if the radius is twice as large on the sovereign right one then who needs the set bonus.

Oops, I meant affording it as in affording the slots for it, as I know any Kheldian build will be tight for slots... Sorry for the misunderstanding!

Switched to Sovereign and respeced into Aid Other, and that did the trick. I can now keep all three fluffs out with little problem, though I wish I had had the foresight to save a slot for an interrupt time IO in Aid Other.

I need some opinions. I have room for either the call to arms +def unique or the expedient reinforcement +res unique. At the moment, I'm farming +0/x8 demons and I have the expedient unique in there. My pets seem to handle one spawn well, but one often will lose enough health that the next spawn kills him. That of course throws off the cycle and I have to wait a while to get back to having three fluffies out. I am swapping provoke for aid other next respec, which will help, but I was wondering which of the two pet uniques helps survivability more in your opinions. They should be roughly equivalent, but I have no experience with the +def one.
