Event: Spirit of the Season, starts today!

Greetings to all the good little boys and girls of Paragon!

As you may know, I do have a list and I've checked it twice and I have seen all of your good deeds and feel that it is time to reward you for being so nice!

Starting today, and throughout the course of the next two weeks, I will be visiting Paragon City to show my appreciation for all that you have done. Yes, I do have a big bag of goodies for those that find me, and sadly, I may not get to visit each one of you. But I think I may have a solution to see to it that as many of you are rewarded for all of your heroic contributions.

Event: Spirit of the Season

Each day, I will be handing out 100,000,000 (one hundred million) in influence/infamy, or random gifts, to random players on each server. (Yes, I will be visiting every server, including the European servers!)

Each player that receives a gift from me will be asked to, in turn, give a gift to another random player on your server. It can be influence/infamy, enhancements, recipes, or whatever you feel you can afford to give. The players that you then give a gift to, should be asked to give a gift to another random player and so on, and so on.

Think of it as a "Pay it Forward."

Now, you don't have to give a gift to another player. You can choose to participate in the "Spirit of the Season," or not. Either way, if you receive a gift from me, you can do with it as you wish. You are under no obligation to "Pay it Forward." But, from what I have seen from this "City of Heroes," over the past five years, I think that this wonderful and amazing community will surprise a lot of people... myself included.

Now, you may be asking, "What's the catch?"

Well, there isn't one.

As a longtime player, I have seen what we are capable of. We delight in putting a smile on our own faces while we put a smile on the faces of others. We all want to be the heroes of our own world, and we do just that each day. Well, this should be no different.

This is why I am keeping myself anonymous. Who I am doesn't matter. I do not want the credit for an event such as this, nor do I want anyone to take claim of it. It is an event made for us all, run by us all. I am just a link in this community "chain." I believe that, by the end of this event, we will show everyone just why our community is the best and strongest one going. It's not about one person. It's about us all.

Sure, it sounds corny, but I think that it's time that we all give back to each other. It's time for us to show that everyone here is appreciated.

So...

Starting late tonight, I will begin making my rounds by handing out gifts to the players on the Freedom server. From there I will continue to make my rounds, over the next two weeks, delivering presents to the good little boys and girls of the rest of the EU/US servers. I will continue to post in this thread to let you know which server I will be visiting next.

My goal is to brighten your day and to ask that you brighten the day of someone else.

I hope to see as many of you as possible and I hope that you can make this holiday season eventful for your fellow players.
