Proc's for pets?
Yes they do, but its not as useful as in mercs. Pretty much all the attacks off mercs can fire the proc. GK only have a chance to proc it of using a broadsword attack. Again the proc only last seconds and are too slow to make seriously good use of this proc.
That procs best in Mercs, and Thug Enforcers IMO
What procs should I put in necro pets then?
Here is what I slot on all my Necro MMs, yes I know I said the -res proc is almost useless. I had space lol

- (3) Blood Mandate - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance

- (5) Sovereign Right - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance

- (A) Expedient Reinforcement - Resist Bonus Aura for Pets
- (19) Expedient Reinforcement - Accuracy/Recharge
- (19) Expedient Reinforcement - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge
- (21) Expedient Reinforcement - Endurance/Damage/Recharge
- (21) Call to Arms - Defense Bonus Aura for Pets
- (A) Blood Mandate - Accuracy/Damage
- (27) Blood Mandate - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance
- (27) Sovereign Right - Accuracy/Damage
- (29) To Hit Debuff IO
- (29) To Hit Debuff IO
- (31) Cloud Senses - Chance for Negative Energy Damage
For Grave Knight, put Tohit debuff enhancements. They add more than the procs. I've tried endurance drain proc from tohit debuff set. It is absolutely horrible. I even tried it in pvp thinking that maybe that proc is better off in pvp and it did absolutely nothing. I even bugged it 'cause the effect is just not noticeable. If something is not noticeable, what is the point of inventing it?
If you can afford, buy Accurate Tohit Debuff's Negative Energy proc for Lich. He can take it. It's basically like 20% chance critical for Lich since all of his damage is equal to Dark Blast damage, which is about the same damage as the proc damage. The only power that can't trigger the proc is the single hold but that hold is on a long recharge anyway. Every other power in Lich can trigger that proc.
Other than that, Necro is not very exciting when it comes to damage proc. You are better off adding pet uniques to increase their survival. (Which reminds me, I used to have fun putting tohit debuff -recharge sets in them so they could shoot faster... ugh, no more -recharge in pets)
PS: I almost think adding procs to Merc is almost a "must". Without those procs (resistance debuff and negative prco and smashing proc for Commando), I feel Merc's damage is quite low. Maybe this is dev's way of buffing Merc (through inventions) but inventions should never be the base-line performance.

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.
Hello. When I slotted my enforcers with an Achilles heel proc the difference was just phenomenal. I'm sure direct damage procs are quite good too. However I'm not sure what good options are.
For instance (I don't play mercs so this is hypothetical) the Spec ops have a nice crowd control power that might be able to be slotted. But on it's long cooldown the proc will probably never even happen.
Im mostly interested in bots, necro, and thugs. Especially necro. I see GK's can take procs from defense debuff sets. Do they have enough of those type of attacks for it to work.
