Generally, depending on your Blaster, recharge gives you more than damage. Your AOE's and your Tier 3 blasts (Blaze, Bitter Ice Bolt, things like that) are usually where the pain lives. That and Build Up & Aim.
Without knowing what kind of blaster you have, all I can say is that OFTEN the melee hitters are surprisingly fast and full of juicy damage. Give 'em a try!

Just repeating the others but definately Recharge over Dmg. My Fire/MM has 80% Global Rech (150% with Hasten) and 34% global dmg and with defiance can easily keep a high dmg buff, then adding in BU & AIM is even more juice. So while Recharge is a must, don't negate trying for Dmg as well.

Im trying to make my blaster dish out as much pain as possible. should I worry about recharge for DPS or just my damage bonus? right now I have 38% recharge and 16%damage(10% is from assault). Just wondering how I should go about it.
