Windows 7 Graphical Glitch

So. Nuked my computer and updated it to Windows 7. Everything [except CoX] runs fine. I just fired up CoH; the first time, it crashed before I got to the login screen. The second time, I made it on, but the graphics looked horrible. I fixed the screen resolution and restarted, but it still looked terrible. The world was extremely dark, but my character, the pedestrians, and the cars on the road were all in bright and gaudy unshaded colors. (I'd link a screenshot, but for some reason I can't take screenshots of games with Windows 7.) So. Anyone having the same problem or is it just me? Am I doing something wrong or is this Windows 7? And is there a patch out that someone can direct me to?

The reply you probably missed in the initial thread - have you downloaded and updated your video drivers? It's not a Windows 7 issue - running it myself. But your description *does* sound a lot like video drivers to me - I had a similar issue with a fresh XP reload before a driver update, as well.

...My graphics look fine now. But now I can't get into the game.

I made it to my character screen twice out of six times. The rest of the times it stopped responding at the login screen. I have yet to actually finish loading into Peregrine Island and get into the game.

Is something wrong with the server or is this another problem on my end?

Edit: Okay, scratch that, it seems to be running OK now. Thanks for the help all!
