Our foursome

Today we finished a Synapse Task Force we were forced to interrupt due to time constraints yesterday. We had started with 6, but 2 dropped out. The last two thirds was completed by the following foursome:

Kitana/Dark Armor scrapper
Empathy/Electric defender
Fire/Cold controller
Traps/Dark defender

I am still amazed how effective we were, very safe, and yet potent damage. Honestly, how did that work? It was like mystical synergy.

Let me know about your other mystical groupings that just worked like how bumblebees fly.

Triumphant Defenders Forever
Psylenz FF/Psi, ArticQuark Storm/Rad, Symon BarSisyphus Bots/psn, Max VanSydow Thugs/Dk, Cyclone Symon Bots/stm, Blue Loki Ice/Cd, Widow 46526
HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.

Duo'ed Synapse in about 1:31 I think was the time.

Psi/EM at 50 IO'ed and accoladed.
Cold/Sonic at level 16 to start, basic DO's

Skipped Babbage though, CW King went down in about a minute.

Purpled builds FTW at low levels.

Like anything seemingly mystical, there's a science behind it. You had Traps and the means to keep foes in them (Fire Cages, Tenebrous Tentacles, Cold slows). FFG + Cold Shields + Fort = silly defense for all, especially for a resistance based scrapper. I'd be very happy to be on a Synpase with that team composition.

Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)

I mulled it over and realized that not only the minions but the lieuts and bosses were getting stacked up on the immobilizes and holds from the traps, fire control, and darkity goodness.

For being capped at level 20 our scrapper took to our team like a duck to water. I know we had at least three vets, the nemesis staffs were picking off anything that dared to run. We were very scrapper/melee centric, no shy wallflowers peaking out to control or debuff. The controller said she liked our kamikaze style. We got in and got ours fast, even the empath.

I did manticore's tf. the team had 1 scrapper (me) and two tanks.
We totally owned that tf. WHO NEEDS HEALS (sorta funny that i was using a spines/regeneration so basically i need heals!)

we only died 3 times! I hate the lvl 40 bosses! we had to skip 2 because we thought they were having insane mood swings.

Ahh, Manticore still has the L40 Paragon Protector Elites in it? Huh, thought they might have fixed that by now. Hadn't run it in a month or two.

And yeah, the OP's team sounds like a match made in heaven.

Rule number six of an empathy defender is NEVER underestimate a blaster's ability to die. I don't care if he has CM, Fort, both RAs, bubbles (both FF and Sonic), and is fighting next to a Storm defender with hurricane on. If there is a way to die in that situation, the blaster will find it.
