Copying CoX and Test folders from Laptop to PC

Hi, there.
Yes, straight copy works. Follow the instructions from here:

Ok, I have some life now, the updater will connect!
However...it seems intent on downloading the *US* client, not the EU...Im clicking on the CoHUpdater.EU.exe.
Do I need to create a new location to save this to?

Two things:
One - just cos you copied the files over, didn't mean you set the Windows Firewall to the same settings. If a program can't connect to a server, and others can, it's usually firewall related. If all else fails, set your gaming system up as a 'DMZ' system - this opens all ports TO THAT BOX ONLY. You'll want to refrain from non-gaming activities (and uninstall anything not game-related) on that box while DMZ'd, as it is wide open to the Internet and therefore vulnerable. Also turn off any file sharing, and unmount any mapped drives, so your other computers on your network can't be accessed by anything that does get to the gaming rig.
Two - if you want to simply 'verify' all the copied files, MOVE the CoHUpdater.EXE from the program's install folder to the desktop and run it from there. It SHOULD ask you where you wish to 'install' - simply point it back to where you parked all the files. It will check all those files, and download a fresh copy of itself to place into the game install folder along with them. This is a 'download in minutes' solution as opposed to several hours.

Does simply copying the files and then placing them on another system, in this case my new PC, work? Other programs have been having teething issues, and I get the feeling I might need to re-download the entire EU client...
Help?
