Quick Ninja Run Vid

Snagged a copy of FRAPS and did a quick 30-second demo (haven't bought a full copy yet).

It may still be processing (original source was around 500MB).

But here's the link for once the file's done being processed.

Okay, for some reason the video didn't convert. It's was an AVI file. Not sure why it didn't work...

Anyone more familiar with YouTube than me?

440MB file in 1024x768, 30 seconds long.

Fraps uses its own video codec, I think. You need to use something like VirtualDub to convert it into something YouTube can understand.

* Download VirtualDub
* Load your video.
* Go to video/compression and pick a suitable codec; any mp4/xvid derivative would work.
* Go to audio/compression and pick something like aac.
* Save the new AVI. Upload it to YouTube.

If you need a codec pack, I usually install this one.

Another program you can use to do the conversion is AviDemux, I use that one to load videos on my phone.

Thanks to @EnsonsDeath for the GVE code that made me VIP again!

Okay, not quite sure how to get VirtualDub or CCCP to work together. But AVIDEMUX did what I needed.

Also, if you want to see the MP4 source file, you can grab it here.

Hmm looks pretty cool, not so fast that its negates the need for travel powers, but fast enough to be worth it.

Reminds me a lot of the "Acrobatics" travel power in Champions.. Which was pretty much like having medium-grade Superjump and Superspeed at the same time. It even came with that ninja-esque run style.

Thanks for sharing, I was curious as to how it looked/performed!

I dunno. It's fast enough that I'm seriously considering spec'ing out of SuperJump on my Kat/SR.

Sure, well-slotted SS will suck the doors off it...but not by much.
