Help with stalker please!
As awesome as DB looks, it's lacking in the secondary effect department.
The combos look bada**, but in order to get the weakened or vital effect, you have to land each and every hit, as you've probably noticed by now. But those who like it, love it.
I have a BS/NiN stalker and he's awesome, brutal burst damage, the animation for AS looks great, haven't got the ol' choppa yet but soon enough.
I took combat jumping at lvl 10 so I could take placate at 12 instead of doing the "gotta get meh travel powa" thing.
Plus there's many more unlockable alternate weapons for BS than DB, 9 vs 2 (not counting valkyrie blade which has to be bought) If you're into unlocking weapons.
My first stalker ever was a DB/EA and I don't know which was worse, lol.
It kinda soured me to stalkers but a month later I tried a different build and started loving stalkers.
I'd go with Broadsword, and then flip a coin for Ninjutsu or Willpower.
Most all of the DB Stalkers I've teamed with seem to drop REALLY fast when on teams, even when they're DB/WP at the higher levels. They draw too much aggro, and their AoE isn't enough to finish enemies off before they retaliate. Broadsword will give you stronger single hits with decent AoE. Parry is also a good power which works well with Ninjutsu, and couldn't hurt Willpower either.
As for Willpower versus Ninjutsu, I would personally choose Ninjutsu just because I think the set is more fun. Thinking practically, though, with Parry boosting its Melee defense and its naturally very high AoE defense, the only defense type you'll need to fret about soft-capping is Ranged defense.

I have a lvl 32/33 DM/WP Stalker. I have lower levels of Elec/WP, had a lvl 28-30 EM/SR.
But what I want to use is DB or BS and WP or Ninja. But what I want is to beable to let loose with the DPS.
Am I looking at the wrong sets for that? DB just seems lacking, but maybe that's just because I'm so used to it on scrappers.
