Expensive looking build, pretty decent resists and defenses.
Lowish on hp but...
Dunno, but i think would be tempted to make a dark/dark/body build to cover for the endurance loss and not be so dependant on Dark Consumption.
Have no real experience with a DM/DA thou, would have to try and figure it out a little better... (have 1 myself, but its only lvl 20 or something)
But, i think you have a KB hole in there... ?

I've only had quite a quick look at it and it looks excellent to me! Only thing I would change is your slotting for Dark Regeneration, but this might just be personal preference. I've opted for capping the endurance and recharge reduction and more accuracy, thus:

Yes you are right my main concerns for this build is the relatively low hp and endurance. I thought about going body for PP and Conserve Energy but for concept reasons I want to stick with dark mastery.
I'm also a little bummed I can't softcap range and melée def without relying on tohit debuff. I'm still trying to play around to achieve but looking difficult.
I'm going to sink a lot of inf into this one so I want to make sure I get it right.
Thanks for the alternative slotting of dark regen I will have a look when I get home and load up mids.
Overall, it looks like a solid build. I think with the resistance you have, and with the heal coming up every 12 seconds you should be fine. You could try replacing the mako's bite with touch of death. Pretty much the same bonuses but it would trade ranged for melee defense. I would probably opt for the extra melee defense. You could also use hecatombs for added rech and endurance recovery.
Your biggest problem is going to be endurance. The attack chain of smite-->SL-->smite--> MG is pretty end costly. You will need to rely upon DC which is why I wouldn't suggest slotting it as an attack. Especially against an AV with only one target in range, you want some end modification in that sucker so it fills up your blue bar easily. Performance shifter wouldnt be a bad choice though.
All these suggestion are optional of course, but just monitor your end closely because if it runs out, it'll be the end of you. (Haha! Bad puns just crack me up).
End usage is definately a problem for the build and I am worried about slotting dark consumption as an attack but I needed to to get the 3.75% melée def. An alternative is to slot performance shifter in DC and slot dark regeneration with the attack set for the melée def. I was thinking with life drain I probable won't need the heal in it as much.
This does mean I lose the theft of essence proc. Ahhh the choices!!
As someone who plays with a VERY similar build, I can tell you it is definitely not bad at all. Just pace yourself with the attack chain and ONLY use dark regeneration when you have 15~% health.

Hi all
This is my first post since the EU & US forums combined. I have been playing COH since I3 and have several IO'd out 50s mostly scrappers. I always wanted to do a DM/DA scapper but always got put off with the heavy end and survivability. Now with IOs set I am now really going to try and build one that can solo AVs and do at least +2/8 missions.
I have come up with this build so far and would really appreciate if you can all make comments to improve it. Inf is not an issue, I have around 4 billion and it is constantly getting bigger so I can always step up inf generation if needed,
