I can't think of any. The best you can do is look at the description and see if it says custom characters or group. Of course, that is not always accurate, since a custom group can be made up of completely standard mobs from different standard groups.
Why don't you like the customs? I understand that people have a tendency to make them too hard, but it most authors try and avoid that. I know I worked hard getting the ones in my arcs to the same level as the regular mobs.
The only ones I really avoid are arcs for levels 1-54 when I am playing a low level alt. You can build a custom that is challenging but not too tough for a low level character, but you can't do that and make it a challenge for a high level character.
