I've recently been looking into Respecing out my Fire/Kin/Fire into Fire/Kin/Stone. Now i'm not a money bag so I'm trying to keep it semi-cheap yet soft capped. The build I made on mids is affordable, and its soft capped. Total S/L defense is 46.2... I know thats soft capped but i don't know if it will be good enough because it is only one Defense point over soft capping. Well gimmie any ideas, and here is my current build:

This is my opinion for whats it is worth.

1. I would slot Hot Feet with some damage IOs. This power is a great help with large groups or regardless of what you plan to do. I would also slot fissure with damage for the same reasons.

2. I would put performance shifter - endurance chance into your stamina.

3. I would slot Celerity-stealth into your stamina for those times you want to rush to mission ends, or just not be bothered.

4. If you plan to farm a lot, I would get SS over super jump. It might not be as nice of a travel power, but it will reduce your time.

5. It is still a solid build even if you do not change anything.

Below is my build and I farm just about everything. I am slowing swapping absolute amazement into flashfire.

It's not a bad build, not at all. But I prefer the way I'm slotted because I really like having Cinders. Also, you slotted Numina Regen/Recov in Earths Embrace which wouldnt be a bad idea if it was perma. But the +Regen/Recov only activates when the power is used, there for health would be the better option.

I just entered the OP into MIDs and it doesn't come up with 46.2 defense, but instead just 36.2 defense on the "Totals" tab. Am I missing something or is the original build 10% under the cap instead of 1% over?

No, check "Hero Accolades" I think i have it set where "Geas of the Kind Ones" is on, so that will lower my Defense.

An Unbounded Leap: Stealth proc in Sprint is cheaper, saves a slot, and won't leave Stealth permanently on.
