Eviscerate
It used to be THE power, after confront, to skip for me.
However, since the radius on it was bumped from 5' to 7', and since its damage was buffed by the claws cast time/damage tweak, I'm having to seriously reconsider it.
If you have to choose between shockwave and eviscerate, I would go with SW because you're SR and the mitigation helps a lot.
If you feel that you don't need the mitigation at all, and want a heavy hitting AoE chain that doesn't knock your enemies all over the place, you will dish out heavy damage with fu, spin, eviscerate, repeat.

If you can hit more than 1 with it then its good. I think it has a good Crit to it too.

maaaaan...now I'm even more confused on what do with this build! lol
I'm trying to work in a tiny bit of concept and add LBE but I'm having trouble getting it in there along w/ soft capping and having a good attack chain. Skipping Eviscerate seemed like it might be the way to go to fit LBE in but now I'm not so sure that I want to skip it!

I'd like to have Physical Perfection but...I think I'll be ok without it since Claws doesn't eat up too much end compared to other primaries...
I can tell you what my solution is:
Dual builds. One AoE based for farming, the other ST based for AVs/Pylons/etc

I pretty much stick to general teaming and some soloing here and there. I'd love to get into all of the AV and Pylon stuff but I don't think I'll ever have enough inf to pull that stuff off.
Still, you have a good point. I keep trying to get everything in one build since that's about all I can afford.
I like it a lot, but I'm not usually maxing DPS to solo AVs. I use it indiscriminately against single or multiple targets.
It's not quite as hard-hitting or fast-animating as Ripper in the Spines set, but recharges faster. Ripper also does Knockdown, and Spines is hurting for candidates for a ST attack chain, unlike Claws, making Ripper relatively more important to Spines than Eviscerate is for Claws.

What's the current thought process on taking Eviscerate?
I'm getting close to 50 w/ my Claws/SR and preparing for my respec.
I like the damage but I can't help but wonder if my DPS would be better served by just skipping it since it takes a bit longer to animate.
Thanks
