Generally speaking, things that are counted numerically (Influence, Prestige, XP) are doubled. Things that are counted as discrete 'drops' (Salvage, Vanguard Merits, Reward Merits, AE tickets, recipe, enhancement and inspiration drops) do not double.
To put it another way - if it has a graphic attached to it, it doesn't double.
