pet powers adjusted for frequency?

This has probably been asked over and over again, but I'm new and cannot find the thread.

Could it be possible to adjust how often your pets do a certain move? Can we be able to make it so that a commando does full auto more often than the other moves for example? OR say one prot bot do mostly heals? Probably not huh? womp womp....

Nope. The pet AI tries to cycle powers in the most efficient manner possible (where they are in relation to the target, which powers are recharged and available, and a variety of other factors) but some pets tend to get stuck in certain loops, like the Bruiser only using Hurl, or Arsonist running into melee, or Animated Stone just generally being a tard. The fixed recharge change in I14 was supposed to fix these AI issues but they're still present, at the cost of being able to improve the performance of our pets.

I'd love to have the ability to tweak the power usage guidelines like you've proposed but it'd require significant work to the pet AI in order to do.

No you cant. The pets do their moves accordingly to their AI pattern

If we had that option, anyone who pays attention to min/maxing would inevitably set their options to the optimal settings, which would probably involve each minion doing their one best attack over and over, or their one best heal, or whatever. This would increase the dps and healing, but it would look boring. By giving people the option to change minion behavior, you would ironically REDUCE the variety of minion behaviors.

The only cases I really wish I could fix the behavior of my pets is when they're being truly pathologically stupid, like the suicidal medic, and in those cases EVERYBODY wants them fixed, so the devs might as well just fix it for everyone in the default behavior. For more esoteric quibbles like the frequency of selecting full auto, that strikes me as just a roundabout way of asking for is more DPS, so you might as well just cut to the chase and ask for a flat out DPS increase.
