Sure, if the KB from Crane Kick doesn't go off. If it does you have to chase your target to finish the chain, that hurts DPS a little. Hurts it more if it happens consistently.

Thats a valid point CE but I use that chain regularly and I find that most of the foes you really use your attack chain against (some bosses, EB's AV's) have enough knockback protection that it doesn't much factor in.
In the pylon thread elsewhere I posted this, but my dps with the chain is 166.

Yeah, generally if you have to repeat the chain a few times, you're fighting an AV and knockback is moot.

how much recharge is needed in cranes kick though? i have met the requirements with the others powers but i still dont know if crane kick recharges enough or not. please awnser this quick as im respecing soon and dont wanna waste my inf to know that i cant peform this chain! lol

I'm not attempting to allure you into doing so, GarfieldZ, but just wanted to inform you that the Storm Kick > Crane Kick > Storm Kick > Crippling Axe Kick chain deals the highest DPS for MA/.
Are you certain that's the best chain? I could've sworn CAK was better than Eagle's Claw for DPS because of EC's long activation time.

One post above you, Stolid, I established that Storm Kick > Crane Kick > Storm Kick > Crippling Axe Kick will deal the highest DPS overall for MA/.

what chain gives the best martial arts dps that includes eagles claw? i know you can get more dps without using it but the animations for the powers are incredible (both of them!)!
