My son created a MM on my account and got it to 50 and then....

This is an odd question(s).
I let my son use my account over the summer when he was with me,
and he leveled a Ninja/Storms MM all the way to 50
I am sooooooo used to playing blueside that I am not used to the redside stuff.
Well.....
I logged his toon on for craps and giggles and noticed he has not done any of the Epic Power stuff apparantly.
He started the Capt. Mako arc, and from what I understand ya have to finish that arc to "access" epics??
Is that the case?
I am just curious.
Mainly because I told him I would finish the arc for him if that would do it for him.
Is that pretty much the way it would work for the toon then?

Yes, you have to finish the first half of the arc to get the Epic Pool unlocked. You know when you've beaten the first half when you get the Patron Badge.
