One actor/actress, two VERY different characters

I thought this up while I was taking a looong shower this morning (don't ask), since I had just finished watching the "behind the scenes" from the extended edition of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. Basically, you state one character and the movie/tv show they're from, and then another character from another movie/tv show who is not only really different from the first, but is played by the same actor. If you think you need to explain one of the characters (i.e. if the character/movie or tv show is not well known), or state who the actor is please do so. Reactions are also welcomed.

Examples:

Captain Jean-Luc Picard (from Star Trek: The Next Generation)

IS

King Richard I (from Mel Brooks' Robin Hood: Men in Tights)

This just killed me when I saw it. So, it's good to be the...Captain...? (Patrick Stewart played both of these characters)

**

Professor Charles Xavier (from the X-Men movies)

IS

Sejanus, Commander of the Imperial Guard (from I, Claudius)

FYI, I, Claudius is an old BBC production about the roman emperors Augustus through Claudius. Sejanus, as the Commander of the Guard, is a lusty, power-hungry, conniving, murderous ***hole, which makes him quite the opposite of Xavier. (Patrick Stewart played both of these characters, too)

**

the gyrocopter pilot (from The Road Warrior)

IS

the Mouth of Sauron (from Lord of the Rings: Return of the King)

You can't tell from the movies, but just watch the Return of the King special features. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the actor's name.

**

Bruce Wayne/Batman (from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight)

IS

Patrick Bateman (from American Psycho)

FYI, Bateman is the title character of that movie. He's a crazy, indescriminant killer with a day job as a corporate executive. He has a major case of OCD and is probably the most nonsensical character I've ever seen. Is it just me, or do these two roles not seem that different? [j/k, kinda] (Christian Bale played both of these characters)

That's all I've got for the moment. The international movie database helps a lot (www.imdb.com), so have fun with it!
