Gravity Control Knockback Protection Question

Why is Gravity Control the only control set where the Knockback protection is in the hold and not the immobilize, other than Mind Control which has no immobilize powers? It seems to me that this cripples Gravity Control in relation to the other control sets. I think this should be changed to bring Gravity Control in line with the rest of the sets.


Where are we going, and why am I in this hand basket?

I disagree, and the issue about it's AoE immob is the least of the sets problems. I happen to like that the holds do -KB, but that was only due to my pairing it with Energy for that reason.

It's not a bug; it's a feature.

Knockbock protection fouls up several useful knock* powers, like Ice Slick, Earthquake and Freezing Rain.

Having at least one control set where you can Immob and not interfere with those powers is a good thing.

You can use the Gravity immob without neutering an Ice Slick or Earthquake from another dom teammate. They will love you.

For extra goodwill, Wormhole more groups onto the location AoE control in question.

To dismiss all goodwill, then use Dimension Shift.
