The buzzsaw DM concept sort of went out the window when the animations were tweaked not too long ago.
Right now, the highest DPS chain I've seen for DM on a brute uses MG, SL, Smite and Gloom.

^^Yup. Firstly, Shadow Punch was increased from 0.57 to 0.83. This change impacted a proc build that cycled SP, ie buzzsaw builds, significantly. Secondly, Midnight Grasp and Siphon Life had their damage greatly increased while Soul Drain was reworked to be more effective.
The end result was that DM changed from being more effective as a speed based proc set to a ST facsimile of Broad Sword (Siphon/Disembowel and MG/Head Splitter being quite similar.).
Hey everyone. I remember hearing about Buzzsaw brutes, and I'm wondering if they are still viable. I remember seeing builds, and knowing that the focus of the build is to slot a bunch of procs in quick attacks to set of the procs really often. I know this lead to really high DPS, but is it enough to solo AV's easily? I'm looking for a new toon to try soloing all the AV's, and Buzzsaw brute (probably Dark Melee/Electric Armor) is coming to mind first. Also, any builds anyone has for a buzzsaw brute would be greatly appreciated!
