Basic "How To PvP" Guide?

Well, I've been playing CoX on and off since the beginning and I have never PvPed in it. It's kind of odd actually, because I loved PvPing in Ultima Online, my first and longest MMO love-affair. I also love pinning my skill against others in FPS games. With that being said, I'm currently working on a Mind/Energy Dom for PvE purposes but it has come to my attention that said Dom would be pretty decent at PvP too. So, with that said... What are some basic PvP do's and don'ts. I'm completely new to the scene.

Thanks.

Easiest way to find out how to play is to hop into a zone or arena and go for it. As long as you are open minded and don't mind taking a beating once in awhile (or a lot), you can learn pretty fast.

Try to remember that PvP had balance in teams, and that somewhat remains. A coordinated team will wreck a bunch of soloers any day of the week. If you are using that Dom, find a stalker that you can work with and go to town.

Just stay positive even if you die. Use your inspirations, this isn't fiteklub. Kite, SuperJump, SuperSpeed, and Phase. Use all means possible to win, and keep yourself alive. Don't listen to these QQers who say not to do any of that. They might represent some of the population, but they are far from informed.

Also let us know which zone you'll want to spec for, or if you want to duel/team arena.

As someone that is just starting to get into PVP in this game for more than finding badges, I can agree with the above. I am using my warshade in RV while I try and find something that I will like more and I can tell you that some days I am the cat and some days I am the litter box.

The more I play the better I get. It doesn't take too long to find out what works and what doesn't. The most important thing I can tell you is to keep moving. After that, just have fun.

Badging in a PvP zone?

If you are treasure hunting on a battlefield wearing an enemy uniform, there is a high probability that you will be attacked.
